DuPont™ ArmorSeal Sealants, Coatings, Tapes, and Fasteners

Cuts Like Wood. Burns Like Concrete.

As with any system, there are additional materials required to fully execute the assembly at its maximum potential. To assist in achieving this, we have developed the DuPont™ ArmorSeal line of products, which are fully tested on our assemblies with the final project in mind. For further details, guides, and assemblies, we encourage you to access the Documentation page.

  • ArmorSeal Sealant (Gun Grade)

ArmorSeal Sealant (Gun Grade) is a moisture-cured, polyether sealant utilized at panel edges, seams, and fastener heads to complete the water-resistant and flashing layer within ArmorWall systems. The Gun Grade variant comes as individual tubes of black, smooth sealant in a 20 pack box. Follow our specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.

  • ArmorSeal Sealant (Trowel Grade)

ArmorSeal Sealant (Trowel Grade) is a moisture-cured, polyether sealant utilized at panel edges, seams, and fastener heads to complete the water-resistant and flashing layer within ArmorWall systems. The Trowel Grade variant comes in a 2 gallon pail and is a gray, textured sealant. Follow our specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.

  • ArmorSeal Plus Coating

ArmorSeal Plus Coating is a single-component air and water-resistive barrier providing protection behind wall claddings such as brick, siding, metal panels, EIFS, and stucco. Utilizing the liquid-applied sealant or coatings allows for field-applied touch-ups on panel joints and seams when used in conjunction with ArmorSeal Mesh Reinforcement. Follow our specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.

  • ArmorSeal Sheathing Screws

ArmorWall is installed with tested and approved coated sheathing screws that meet rigorous standards for salt water exposure, moisture degradation, and structural performance. We provide sheathing screws in bulk quantity to ensure that the job is installed to its performance standards, while passing along the bulk purchase discount of the fasteners to the installation contractor. Please refer to our Fastener Guide for more information.

  • ArmorSeal Cladding Attachment Screws

Cladding attachment to ArmorWall panels should be done utilizing the approved cladding attachment screw of appropriate length as required to penetrate the substrate of ArmorWall. A minimum 1/2″ into the ArmorWall structural element beyond the board face is required. Utilizing tested and approved coated ArmorSeal attachment screws ensures that materials will stay in place for many years to come. Please refer to our Fastener Guide for more information.

  • ArmorSeal Flashing Tape

ArmorSeal Flashing Tape is a puncture-resistant water-resistive barrier flashing used within the ArmorWall system in above-grade applications to detail large prefabricated panel assembly seams and differing substrates while maintaining extended UV exposure. The high UV resistance suits open cladding systems where maintaining protection is critical. Follow our specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.

  • ArmorSeal Mesh Reinforcement

ArmorSeal Mesh Reinforcement is to be utilized when field-applying ArmorSeal flashing systems during the three-course application. It provides a multi-step application of sealant, spanning seams and panel edges. Followour standard specifications for coverage rates.

  • ArmorSeal Below Grade Sealant (Gun Grade)

ArmorSeal Below Grade Sealant is a moisture-cured, below grade polyether sealant utilized at panel edges, seams, and fastener heads to complete the water-resistant and flashing layer of the ArmorWall Below Grade system. Follow our specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.

  • ArmorSeal Below Grade Trowel Flash

ArmorSeal Below Grade Trowel Flash is to be used at below grade seams and corner applications when installing the ArmorWall Below Grade system. Follow our standard specifications for coverage rates.

  • ArmorSeal Below Grade Trowel Mesh Reinforcement

ArmorSeal Below Grade Trowel Mesh Reinforcement is to be utilized when field applying ArmorSeal Below Grade Trowel Flash during three-course application. It provides a multi-step application of sealant spanning seams and panel edges. Follow our standard specifications for coverage rates.
