FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SALISBURY, North Carolina, September 28, 2020 — MaxLife Industries is pleased to announce that our newest product ArmorWall Structural Insulated Sheathing™ Symmetrical Panel (SP) has just been awarded The Architect’s Newspaper 2020 Best of Products Winner in the Weather, Air Barriers and Insulation category.
The annual award recognizes new manufacturer products for innovation, aesthetics, performance and value. Entries are reviewed by an expert national jury of architects, engineers, construction and design professionals, as well as AN editors.
ArmorWall SP is the newest product variation in the ArmorWall series that was launched to enable architects to pursue previously unattainable design features. ArmorWall SP offers industry-leading structural strength, durability, continuous insulation properties, and fire, air and water-resistant capabilities.
The most unique feature of ArmorWall SP is its ability to provide a two-hour fire rated exterior wall assembly in one step. Accordingly, it is a preferred solution for buildings in densely populated areas as well as high rise buildings where installers are able to work with single panels in place of several components.
ArmorWall SP is currently available in three variations: ArmorWall SP Vapor Permeable (SP VP), ArmorWall SP Non-Permeable (SP NP) and ArmorWall SP Non-Coated (SP NC). Each of the variations offer unique benefits for a wide range of building enclosure applications across many multifamily, commercial, public and other building types.
