ArmorWall Returns are precision cut in the factory to aid in reducing installation time around punched openings or other large breaks in the wall. They offer a seamless and rapid plane transition to the structural surface while providing fire, air, and water membrane surfacing. All ArmorWall Returns are offered coated or non-coated in 8′-0″ lengths, with widths to match the depth of the assembly.
ArmorWall Board is the raw Magnesium Oxide (MgO) board that is UL Classified to be utilized in applications where field returns vary from standard provided sizes. ArmorWall Board can also be utilized to create higher fire ratings in assemblies as required. Contact Customer Service for inquiries regarding special applications.
ArmorWall Sheathing Screws
ArmorWall is installed with tested and approved coated sheathing screws that meet rigorous standards for salt water exposure, moisture degradation, and structural performance. MaxLife Industries provides sheathing screws in bulk quantity to ensure that the job is installed to its performance standards, while passing along the bulk purchase discount of the fasteners to the installation contractor. Please refer to our Fastener Guide for more information.
ArmorWall Cladding Attachment Screws
Cladding attachment to ArmorWall panels should be done utilizing the ArmorWall Cladding Attachment Screw of appropriate length as required to penetrate the substrate of ArmorWall. A minimum 1/2″ into the ArmorWall structural element beyond the board face is required. Utilizing tested and approved coated ArmorWall Attachment Screws ensures that materials will stay in place for many years to come. Please refer to our Fastener Guide for more information.
ArmorSeal™ VP is a single-component, vapor permeable air and water barrier membrane providing protection behind wall claddings such as brick, siding, metal panels, EIFS, and stucco. Utilizing the liquid-applied sealant or coatings allows for field-applied touch-ups on panel joints and seams when used in conjunction with the ArmorWall Mesh Reinforcement.
ArmorSeal™ Sealant is a moisture-cured, polyether sealant utilized at panel edges, seams, and fastener heads to complete the water resistant and flashing layer within ArmorWall VP and NP systems. Follow MaxLife Industries’ specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.
ArmorWall Mesh Reinforcement
ArmorWall Mesh Reinforcement is to be utilized when field-applying ArmorSeal™ VP or NP flashing systems during the three-course application. It provides a multi-step application of sealant, spanning seams and panel edges. Follow MaxLife Industries’ standard specifications for coverage rates.
ArmorWall Below Grade Trowel Flash
ArmorWall Below Grade Trowel Mesh Reinforcement
ArmorWall Below Grade Trowel Mesh Reinforcement is to be utilized when field applying ArmorWall BG Trowel Flash during three-course application. It provides a multi-step application of sealant spanning seams and panel edges. Follow MaxLife Industries’ standard specifications for coverage rates.
ArmorSeal™ Below Grade Sealant
ArmorSeal™ Below Grade Sealant is a moisture-cured, below grade polyether sealant utilized at panel edges, seams, and fastener heads to complete the water resistant and flashing layer of the ArmorWall BG system. Follow MaxLife Industries’ specifications for coverage rates and application requirements.
