Manufacturing Plant and Warehouse Positions

Production Shift Manager

MaxLife Industries, manufacturer of ArmorWall Structural Insulated SheathingTM, seeks Production Shift Manager to oversee shift operations at our manufacturing plant in Salisbury, North Carolina.  The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing and actively participating in manufacturing operations during one of three daily shifts.  These responsibilities include manufacturing production, quality control, shipping and receiving, inventory management, equipment maintenance and repairs, safety management and some employee supervision.

The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding daily production goals for their shift, while identifying areas for improvement, cost reduction and increased efficiencies.  The Production Shift Manager will be supported by others in similar positions as well as the Plant Manager but must be able to think and act independently to keep production moving forward at all times possible.

Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Technician

MaxLife Industries, manufacturer of ArmorWall Structural Insulated SheathingTM, seeks a Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Technician to perform routine machinery, tool and building maintenance, repairs and improvements at our manufacturing plant in Salisbury. 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position is required. Proven experience with electrical repairs, welding and metal fabrication in a manufacturing plant environment are required.

The Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, this position will help boost production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.

The ideal candidate will live within 30 miles of our manufacturing plant in Salisbury as a portion of the hours for this position include “on-call” time where the Technician will be needed on-site during week days, weekends and nights to help keep our manufacturing plant operating. The Technician will also perform a variety of building and grounds maintenance, upkeep and improvement activities.
